However, the good news is that 75% of cases of vision loss can be prevented with proper eye care. Even though eye care is valued as an essential part of one’s well being, sadly it is still limited and underutilized in a significant segment of the population globally. Over 2 billion individuals worldwide can benefit from better access to eye care.
